Michaela B. - Educator

I have been working in the early childhood education field for almost three years now at Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School. I started working as an educator because I love working with children and I want to make a positive impact on children's lives just as my fifth grade teacher did for me. My fifth grade teacher inspired me to be a teacher because I struggled during fourth grade because I did not understand my teachers way of teaching and my fifth grade teacher never gave up on me. She constantly encouraged me and believed in me. The pay for teachers in general needs to be higher.
